MARBELLA is the most famous municipality and Costa del Sol’s answer to the trendy resort of St. Tropez in France and Miami in Florida and the favourite holiday destination for the rich and famous when visiting Spain. Over the last 3 decades Marbella has grown from a fishing village to a cosmopolitan city. Currently there are more than 135,000 people living in Marbella. For fine dining and partying there is no better place on the Costa del Sol than Marbella. There are 100’s of world-class restaurants in the town centre around the main square ‘Plaza los Naranjos’ and its small surrounding streets, along the beachfront and of course in the luxury marina of Puerto Banús. Marbella is also the ideal place for shopaholics! PUERTO BANUS, Marbella’s luxury marina was established in 1970 by Jose Banus. In total there are room for 800 boats and yachts. Inside the port there are numerous restaurants and bars and 90% of all designer shops in Marbella are located here. Currently Puerto Banus attracts over 4.000.000 visitors a year! On either side of the marina are several luxury beach clubs and 5* hotels. Puerto Banus is nowadays one of the most popular places for tourists coming over for a ´Hen´ or ´Stag´ party or for a long weekend playing golf on some of the surrounding golf courses.


NUEVA ANDALUCIA is a luxury residential area only minutes away from Marbella centre and Puerto Banus. Because of its elevation, mature gardens and green areas, most properties in this area have spectacular views across the Mediterranean or the iconic mountain La Concha. Nueva Andalucia is often referred to as Marbella Golf Valley. With 5 Championship golf courses, Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, Aloha, La Quinta and Los Arqueros, this is without a doubt one of the best golf destinations in Europe! The Marbella casino is also located in Nueva Andalucia, along the main road leading from Marbella in direction Estepona.


CABOPINO is the 1st urbanisation within Marbella city limits. It has one of Spain’s most beautiful marinas, with several Spanish and international restaurants, but is not so well known to the public, because it cannot be seen from the road. The marina is not very deep and therefore it is only suitable for motor yachts. The beach in Cabopino is without a doubt one of the best sandy beaches in the region. There are no rocks on the beach or shoreline and therefore ideal for families with young children as the water is very shallow. Lots of sun loungers and parasols are offered by the beach restaurants.


ELVIRIA is located 45 km from Malaga’s International airport and 10 km east of Marbella. Whatever your age, no matter how diverse your interests, this beautiful urbanisation provides every possible opportunity for you to find the perfect accommodation and enjoy a fabulous holiday experience. Elviria has long been a popular holiday resort and is home to the five-star Don Carlos Hotel and the world famous Nikki Beach Club. The internationally renowned Santa Maria Golf & Country Club is also located here. The village itself has a genuine heart, complete with town hall, post office, schools, bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. Elviria is home to many superior quality developments and urbanisations, most of which offer an elevated position overlooking the sea. It’s a well suited location for families and has become increasingly popular for second homes for many foreign visitors.


EL ROSARIO is a small residential urbanisation located on the beach, just outside of Marbella. The area is very laid-back, with a mix of luxury villas and apartment complexes, all within walking distance of the lovely beach. El Rosario is an excellent destination for couples and families looking for a quieter location, yet close to all the amenities and leisure facilities of Marbella, which is literally 10 minutes away in the car. El Rosario isn’t a town, but there are bars, restaurants and a supermarket in the local vicinity. For more amenities, the larger resort of Elviria is just five minutes in the car, and Marbella around 10 minutes’ drive. El Rosario is home to a lovely stretch of golden sand, which forms part of the stretch of beach of East Marbella, which is thought to be one of the best along the Costa del Sol. There are lots of bars and beach restaurants, public showers and water sports can be found at intervals along the beach.
